SOLARIS is proud to be a part of Georgetown's $400 million dollar mixed-use transit-oriented development of the historic Gilbert & Bennett Wire Mill in Georgetown, Connecticut.  As a brownfield site the project has won national recognition including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's SMART GROWTH ACHIEVEMENT.  In keeping with the development's GREEN standards the project is seeking LEED Gold-Level certification and is one of the first projects to be accepted in the United States Green Building Council's LEED Neighborhood Development pilot program.
